The week celebrates the main symbols of the boot-shaped country: flour/bread, wine, and the "aperitivo" ritual. These are symbols of a culture that harmoniously combines tradition, health benefits and community spirit.
After the academic opening event, the 10th Italian Gastronomy Week will also feature many other highlights such as "The Art of Aperitivo - Italian Taste in Every Moment" taking place on the evening of November 21. This will be a special evening, honoring the aperitivo culture - a relaxing ritual after work, where exquisite flavors meet the spirit of connection and enjoyment.
In addition, the program "Wine Festival at Casa Italia 2025" takes place on November 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at 18 Le Phung Hieu.
Before that, the event opened with the workshop "From wheat grain to oven: The art of Italian bread making - The fusion of tradition and creativity" taking place on November 17 and 18.

This intensive course is not only a masterclass in the techniques of making famous pastries such as panzerotti, focaccia, and pizza, but also delves into the science of balanced nutrition and the application of modern technology to enhance the products.
Initiated in 2016, the Week of Italian Cuisine is an initiative of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. This year’s event is even more meaningful as it is inspired by the fact that Italy is nominating its cuisine to the UNESCO List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
This nomination is to recognize the way Italians have transformed raw, high-quality materials into a cultural essence, a national identity and an indispensable shared joy in community life.
