Urgently clean up sand filling the coastal road of Phan Ri Cua

On the morning of November 28, the People's Committee of Phan Ri Cua commune said that the locality had mobilized machinery to clear the huge amount of sand that had been swept up by big waves, covering the coastal road of Ganh Rai.

A stretch of road over 300m long was completely filled, with some places having a layer of sand over 20cm thick, making it difficult for vehicles to travel. The repair work was completed at around 9:30 am the same day, ensuring the smooth flow of traffic in the area that attracts many tourists to experience.

Meanwhile, large waves from the night of November 27 to the early morning of November 28 continued to cause serious damage in many coastal areas. Waves up to 4m high destroyed many locations of the seawall system in Mui Ne ward, and also caused landslides, collapsed embankment structures and broken brick foundations at Doi Duong - Thuong Chanh beaches, Phan Thiet ward.
