Urgently complete site clearance for drainage line outside the boundary of Long Thanh Airport Project

The Provincial People's Committee has issued a document assigning the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over, coordinate, and guide the Long Thanh Commune People's Committee to urgently carry out compensation and site clearance for the T3 drainage line outside the boundary of the Long Thanh International Airport Project.

According to the design documents of Long Thanh Airport Project, to serve the drainage of this airport, Vietnam Airport Corporation (ACV) will deploy the construction of 2 drainage lines to connect with the existing drainage system outside the project boundary. Specifically, 2 drainage lines: T2, T3 will connect from regulating lakes No. 2 and No. 3 in the Long Thanh Airport area to the existing drainage system outside the project boundary.

The total land area for the construction of the T2 and T3 drainage lines is about 4,000 ^m2 . ACV has been handed over the entire site to serve the construction of the T2 drainage line. Meanwhile, for the T3 line, the site area has been handed over about 65%. Currently, the site area that has not been cleared to serve the construction of the T3 drainage line is more than 1,000 ^m2 .
