The Department of Economics and Construction Investment Management directs project management boards, investors, and contractors to strictly implement measures to ensure construction safety, prevent landslides, and promptly resolve any arising incidents. Special attention is paid to routes that are both in operation and under construction.
The Department of Construction of affected provinces and cities shall proactively coordinate with local authorities, Road Management Areas, road, railway and waterway maintenance management units to promptly overcome incidents caused by natural disasters. At the same time, organize traffic flow, ensure circulation on assigned routes, coordinate the operation of toll booths, and transfer passengers and goods when necessary.
The Ministry of Construction requires all agencies and units to seriously organize 24/7 duty and regularly report to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Control and Search and Rescue of the Ministry of Construction to promptly direct and handle arising situations.
