In the area, there are 18/19 neighborhoods, but the most flooded are Kim Binh, Kim Ngoc, Thang Thuan, Phu Hoa, Phu Thinh, Phu Thanh, Phu Xuan, Phu My, Thang Thuan, Ung Chiem, and Thang Hoa neighborhoods.

Immediately upon receiving the information on December 2, the Ward Civil Defense Command and relevant units went directly to the Song Lap area, Group 1, Kim Binh quarter, which is a low-lying, flooded area, to direct the implementation of support work for people to evacuate people and property to safe locations to ensure people's lives and property.

Speaking at the meeting, Lam Dong Provincial Party Secretary Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam acknowledged and highly appreciated the timely intervention of the Party Committee, authorities and forces in Ham Thang ward in proactively evacuating people, being on duty, supporting affected households, and minimizing damage.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that localities urgently carry out survey work, assess damage, and prepare documents to request support in accordance with the instructions and regulations of the law.
Direct the militia force to support cleaning and sanitizing houses for households with elderly and lonely people, to help people quickly stabilize their lives and return to normal activities after the flood.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested functional units to organize garbage collection, clear sewers, and spray disinfectants in areas where water has receded, ensuring a clean environment and limiting the risk of disease after floods.

Along with that, Ham Thang ward needs to quickly deploy key tasks: Receive and distribute support gifts to people fairly; restore essential infrastructure works such as electricity, water, traffic, telecommunications; count cases of collapsed and severely damaged houses to support funding according to Decision 2447/QD-UBND dated December 5, 2025, ensuring completion of repairs and construction before January 15, 2026.

Regarding agricultural production, localities are required to focus on supporting people to restore rice, dragon fruit, vegetables and re-herd livestock and poultry; at the same time, organize summaries, draw lessons from flood prevention work and promptly reward organizations and individuals who have contributed.
During the working trip, the provincial leadership delegation directly surveyed heavily damaged areas; at the same time, presented many gifts to support Ham Thang ward and 25 households seriously affected by flooding.
