Urgently deploy resettlement areas to serve the site clearance work of Gia Binh International Airport.

BAC NINH – On the morning of December 2, comrades: Nguyen Hong Thai, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ngo Tan Phuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, together with leaders of departments, branches and localities, inspected the field and grasped the situation of site clearance for the Gia Binh International Airport project and the Ring Road 4 project - Hanoi Capital Region (section passing through Bac Ninh province).

At the Gia Binh International Airport construction investment project, units and localities declared nearly 6,700/7,980 households and individuals with an agricultural land area of ​​about 818 hectares; made advance payments of more than VND 2,405 billion to about 4,825 households with an area of ​​533.6 hectares in Luong Tai, Gia Binh, and Nhan Thang communes; declared and inventoried about 7,500 graves. Comrade Nguyen Hong Thai requested early implementation of resettlement projects to speed up site clearance for Gia Binh International Airport.

Investors and contractors are focusing on human resources, equipment for site leveling and preparation work to deploy the VIP terminal, air traffic control tower and runway items.

Provincial leaders and working delegation inspected the construction progress of Ring Road 4, section passing through Mao Dien commune.

Based on the progress reports of relevant units, Comrade Nguyen Hong Thai emphasized that site clearance is of great importance and is also the biggest challenge in ensuring the progress of the Gia Binh International Airport construction project to serve the APEC Summit in 2027. He requested units and localities to speed up site clearance, especially urgently invest in resettlement projects so that people can soon hand over the site and move to stabilize their lives. Investors and construction units focus on implementing in areas with available site, completing procedures and work documents according to the proposals of the industry and localities.

Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai affirmed that Bac Ninh will meet with central ministries and branches to develop mechanisms and policies to ensure the legitimate rights of people in the project area; at the same time, the province always accompanies investors, removes difficulties, and is determined to deploy and implement the project on schedule.

The construction unit is actively constructing Ring Road 4 (section through Bac Ninh province).

For component project 2.3 of the investment project to build Ring Road 4 - Hanoi Capital Region (section through Bac Ninh province), the construction volume reached more than 966/2,307.9 billion VND, reaching nearly 42% of the contract value. Contractors are facing difficulties due to lack of soil for filling and crushed stone; the announcement of material prices is slow and not close to market prices...

Through the inspection, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Hong Thai requested investors and contractors to mobilize maximum human and material resources to speed up construction progress, ensure quality, labor safety and site hygiene.

The Provincial Party Secretary assigned the relevant departments and branches to continue to find solutions to remove difficulties for contractors in terms of construction materials; when the market fluctuates continuously, it is necessary to promptly announce material prices that are close to market prices; advise the Provincial People's Committee on how to handle the organic soil source (not being used for roadbed construction) remaining at the construction site to facilitate the construction unit as well as surrounding projects that need to level the ground.
