Orange products of 3T Farm Cooperative are Halal certified.
In mid-November, great joy came to 3T Cao Phong Agricultural Products Cooperative (3T Farm) when the cooperative's orange products were certified Halal according to the strict standards of HVN and OIC/SMIIC, becoming the first orange growing unit in the province to own this prestigious certification. This is an important milestone affirming that the quality of the cooperative's products is completely in line with international Halal standards, opening up opportunities to reach out to the global market. The cooperative's products also achieved ISO 22000:2018 and Eurofins certifications, tested for more than 900 safety and nutritional indicators.
To achieve that recognition is the persistent journey of the Cooperative, especially the role of Director Vu Thi Le Thuy. With the motto of green living environment, sustainable development, more than 20 hectares of oranges of the Cooperative are produced using organic methods.

Director of 3T Farm Cooperative Vu Thi Le Thuy shared: “3T Farm always adheres to the direction of clean agricultural products, with the motto of doing things honestly and transparently. The Cooperative does not pursue quantity or area but focuses on quality. Only when daring to go in the right direction can a small cooperative with little capital have the opportunity to stand firm. Certification is an important milestone affirming the quality of the Cooperative's products, and at the same time proving that local agricultural products can completely meet the world 's strict standards if done correctly and with all their heart.”
Because of safe production, 3T Farm Cooperative’s orange garden regularly welcomes visitors to experience orange cutting in the garden. Many consumers are willing to buy clean oranges at a higher price than the market average, because the quality and safety have been confirmed.
Together with 3T Farm, many gardeners in Cao Phong commune and the orange growing area of the old Cao Phong district have changed their mindset, producing according to organic standards, VietGAP, GlobalGAP. All aim to create safe products, increase value, and maintain the Cao Phong orange brand.

Vita Garden orange garden welcomes visitors to experience orange picking in the garden.
The 3ha Vita Garden orange garden, including yellow-heart oranges and Canh oranges of Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan in Vo hamlet, Cao Phong commune, is located on a high hill. From the windy hilltop, one can see the vast orange area. This year, the rainy weather has been prolonged, making it difficult for gardeners to take care of the oranges, but with tireless efforts, the day of harvesting sweet fruit has come.

The owner of Vita Garden orange garden composts Streptomyces bacteria to take care of orange trees.
Mr. Tuan's family left the city to Cao Phong to grow oranges, living in a small house right in the garden. He produces organically, saying no to chemicals. Mr. Tuan said: "The garden uses a variety of microbiological products, especially self-research, breeding, isolating and applying strains such as: Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus Linchenfomic, Streptomyces actinomycetes...
The use is closely managed according to the weather, tree growth and pest levels. This process takes a lot of time and effort but brings long-term and safe results. Nutrition for the fruit is supplemented from organic fertilizers and traditional compost materials such as fish, ripe bananas, soybeans... The garden's oranges have been tested and meet the strict standards of Eurofins.
From gardeners, cooperatives to businesses in Cao Phong are grasping, changing their thinking and producing according to the inevitable development trend of green, organic agriculture. With about 170 hectares of oranges and tangerines in harvest, Cao Phong Hoa Binh Company Limited with 1,600 contracted households all comply with VietGAP procedures.

The old Cao Phong district has about 1,700 hectares of oranges and tangerines. Of which, Cao Phong commune alone is the core area with nearly 500 hectares, the harvested area is 186.61 hectares, the output is about 3,300 tons. The price of oranges is stable, averaging 45,000 - 60,000 VND/kg of Canh oranges and 25,000 - 30,000 VND/kg of yellow-heart oranges.
The commune focuses on directing the implementation of the citrus replanting project to maintain the orange brand. In particular, it actively prepares for the Cao Phong Orange Festival in 2025 combined with the Exhibition Fair to introduce typical products of ethnic minorities and mountainous areas, to widely promote local agricultural products.
The season of ripe oranges is bustling on the hillsides, the golden stalls along Highway 6 and the orange crates with clear stamps and labels demonstrate the tireless efforts of orange growers. With the right mindset and direction of the pioneering units and gardeners, we hope to spread throughout the region so that the Cao Phong orange brand continues to shine and reach further and further.
