Previously, on the morning of November 12, people discovered a dolphin swimming near the shore and tried to help it move away. However, on the morning of November 13, the dolphin was washed ashore again by waves. By the afternoon of the same day, the dolphin showed signs of exhaustion and could not swim on its own, so people brought it to Ong's mausoleum to monitor and care for it, to avoid it being swept away by the waves.
According to the folk beliefs of coastal fishermen, dolphins and whales are called Ong Nam Hai - the god who protects fishermen when they go to sea. Whenever "Ong" drowns on the shore, people often treat and take good care of them. In case the fish does not survive, the locality will bury them according to traditional customs.
