People in need can go to the Vaccination Center - Khanh Hoa General Hospital (gate 2, 19 Yersin Street, Nha Trang Ward) to get vaccinated completely free of charge.
This vaccination campaign uses vaccines provided by AMV Medical Joint Stock Company (Hanoi), including 800 doses of vaccine and 200 doses of tetanus serum. The hospital will continue to administer the vaccinations until the sponsored amount is used up.

According to hospital leaders, after natural disasters, the risk of tetanus exposure increases because people have to clean up in muddy conditions, polluted water and many sharp objects.
Tetanus bacteria commonly exist in soil, mud, and animal feces. People with open wounds or working in polluted environments need to be vaccinated early to minimize the risk of contracting the disease.
This is a meaningful community activity, contributing to protecting the health of people in flood-affected areas during the recovery period, limiting the risk of infectious disease outbreaks.
