Khanh Hoa: Investor proposes Wind Power Blade Manufacturing Project, area of over 31 hectares

The Wind Power Blade Manufacturing Project is proposed to be invested in Phuoc Nam Industrial Park, Thuan Nam Commune, Khanh Hoa Province with a total area of about 31.46 hectares.

Mr. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, recently received and worked with Zhuzhou New Age Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (under CRRC Group China) on the proposal for the Wind Power Blade Manufacturing Project.

Accordingly, the Wind Power Blade Manufacturing Project is proposed to be invested in Phuoc Nam Industrial Park, Thuan Nam Commune, Khanh Hoa Province with a total area of about 31.46 hectares.

The project installs 8 wind turbine blade production lines measuring 110m with a design capacity of 480 sets/year and can meet the production of blades up to 150m long.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Minh Hoang supported Chu Chau New Age Material Technology Co., Ltd. to implement this project in Khanh Hoa; at the same time, he emphasized that Khanh Hoa is currently one of the energy centers of the country, including wind power and solar power.

The fact that investors chose Khanh Hoa to manufacture wind turbine blades is a right direction. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged the opinions and recommendations and discussed with investors some contents related to the National Power Development Plan for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 (Power Plan VIII); procedures for granting investment certificates; transporting turbine blades; tax and customs mechanisms and policies, preferential policies for foreign investors, procedures for exporting and importing wind turbine blades, etc.

Mr. Hoang affirmed that Khanh Hoa province welcomes and is ready to create all conditions for the investor to implement the project. The Provincial People's Committee will assign the Department of Finance and related departments, branches and sectors to work and discuss with the investor to promptly resolve difficulties and problems arising during the project implementation.
