According to the forecast of Khanh Hoa Hydrometeorological Station, from November 16 to 18, the whole province will have widespread heavy rain, with total rainfall of 150-250mm/period, in the North and West, some places will have over 300mm/period, with the risk of flash floods and landslides in steep slopes and downstream areas of rivers and streams.
Reservoir management units must be on duty seriously, monitor water levels, check dam safety and proactively lower water levels to create flood capacity, ensuring safety of works and residents in downstream areas.

Communes, wards and special zones are required to review and inspect vulnerable, low-lying and flooded areas, develop response scenarios according to levels, identify key areas, evacuation plans, and relocate people, forces, vehicles and equipment.
Guards and checkpoints should be deployed at underground, overflow, deep water, fast-flowing water areas, river banks and roads at risk of landslides to ensure safety and support evacuation and rescue when needed. Check, dredge and clear drainage ditches; people in low-lying areas should proactively raise their assets and household items.
Construction project investors deploy measures to protect the safety of construction sites, workers and people around the construction area when heavy rain and floods occur...
