The Kênh Mới - Nam Vĩnh Tế bridge, connecting the two communes of Vĩnh Gia and Ô Lâm, was inaugurated.

On February 13th, the People's Committee of Vinh Gia commune, in coordination with the People's Committee of O Lam commune (An Giang province), held the inauguration ceremony for the Kenh Moi - Nam Vinh Te bridge, connecting the two communes of Vinh Gia and O Lam.

After nearly 60 days of construction, the Kênh Mới - Nam Vĩnh Tế bridge was completed and put into use. The bridge has a total length of 39m, a width of 3.5m, and a load capacity of 5 tons; its structure is reinforced concrete combined with a steel bridge deck.

The total cost of constructing the bridge is approximately 600 million VND, funded through social mobilization. Of this amount, An Giang Stone Exploitation and Processing Company Limited contributed 200 million VND; residents of Vinh Gia and O Lam communes contributed nearly 153 million VND; the military , police, and Vinh Gia Border Guard Post contributed labor; and the remaining funds are being raised by the People's Committees of Vinh Gia and O Lam communes.
