Comrade Le Thanh Trieu, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province spoke at the inauguration ceremony.

Hai Hon Bridge has a total construction cost of 340 million VND. Of which, Mr. Truong Dieu Hoa, residing in Go Vap Ward, Ho Chi Minh City directly supported 300 million VND. The remaining amount is matched from the local budget .

Comrade Le Thanh Trieu awarded a certificate of merit to Mr. Truong Dieu Hoa for his active contributions to social security work in the province.

Speaking at the ceremony, the leader of U Minh Commune People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the sponsors, organizations and individuals who contributed to the construction of the project. Hai Hon Bridge not only creates favorable conditions for people and students to travel but also contributes to promoting the socio -economic development of the locality.

On behalf of the government and people of U Minh commune, the Chairman of the People's Committee officially announced the opening of Hai Hon bridge, and at the same time called on the community to continue to pay attention and support the construction of more rural traffic works, contributing to improving infrastructure and improving the quality of life of the people.

*On the same morning, Tan An Commune People's Committee and sponsors cut the ribbon to inaugurate and put into use Ong Nhu Canal Bridge in Tan Tien Hamlet.

The Ong Nhu Canal Bridge is sponsored by the staff of Thami Shipping Joint Stock Company and the Connecting the Happy Coast Group - Ca Mau Province Women's Union. The total construction cost is 225 million VND, of which the sponsors contributed 175 million VND, the rest is matched by the Tan An Commune People's Committee.

The bridge is 35 m long, 2 m wide, and has a load capacity of 1.2 tons, meeting safety requirements for the travel of people and students in the area.

The Commune People's Committee, sponsors and people are excited to have a rural bridge.

Mr. Truong Thanh Duc, Secretary of Tan Tien Hamlet Party Cell, was delighted: the bridge is the dream of more than 30 households here. Previously, traveling between the two banks of the river had to depend on boats, but now travel is much more convenient and safer.

The bridge not only shortens the geographical distance but also marks an important step in improving transport infrastructure, contributing to improving the quality of life for local people.

Mr. Nguyen Van Linh, Vice Chairman of Tan An Commune People's Committee, said: After the merger and operation, the commune still faces many difficulties, especially in terms of traffic infrastructure. There are still many black dirt roads and rural bridges that need to be built in the area. On behalf of the commune leaders, he expressed his thanks to the sponsors and expressed his hope to continue receiving the support of benefactors in the coming time, contributing to improving travel conditions and improving the lives of people in rural areas that are still difficult.
