Inauguration of drinking water production line for soldiers

On the morning of September 4, the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen (An Giang Provincial Military Command) coordinated with Antraco Joint Venture Company Limited to inaugurate a production line of bottled and jarred drinking water.

Accordingly, the bottled and jarred drinking water production line was deployed and installed by the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen from August 9, 2025. The system has a designed capacity of 500 - 700 liters/hour. The total investment cost of the line is nearly 200 million VND. Of which, Antraco Company sponsored 120 million VND, the rest was mobilized by the social unit.

The system is put into operation, the output water indicators meet bottled drinking water standards; the bottling and bottling process meets food hygiene and safety standards, meeting the drinking water needs for daily life, training, and combat readiness.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Lieutenant Colonel Do Van Trung, Deputy Commander of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen, requested the production team, officers and soldiers of the unit to strictly manage the operation of the bottled and jarred drinking water production system; do a good job of product hygiene and safety, water quality in production and distribution for consumption. Regularly improve the Bottled and Jarred Drinking Water Production Team, ensure clean water for officers and soldiers of the Defense Command of Region 2 - Long Xuyen, contributing to improving the lives of soldiers.
