During the period from July 1972 to February 1975, the basic headquarters of the 320A Division Command (Dong Bang Division) was located in Bua village, Ia Pnon commune.

During this period, the Party Committee and the Division's command led and directed the unit to coordinate with the local people and friendly units to launch campaigns with hundreds of large and small battles in the area of ​​Highway 19 West and Highway 14; maintaining and expanding the liberated zone, ensuring the safety of the strategic corridor into Southern Vietnam.

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the historical monument marking the location of the basic command post of the 320A Division Command.

Notable battles such as Chu Bo - Duc Co, Thanh An, Thanh Giao, Dit village, Don 30, Don Tam, Chu Nghe... shattered the enemy's defenses, liberating many villages from enemy control.

In February 1975, the main command post, along with the entire 320th Division, marched south to participate in the liberation of the Central Highlands and the Ho Chi Minh Campaign to liberate the South and unify the country.

In accordance with the wishes of generations of officers and soldiers of the 320th Division, the Traditional Liaison Committee of the Dong Bang Division decided to rebuild the Monument commemorating the basic command post of the Division Headquarters in the historical village of Bua (Ia Pnon commune) and complete it in time for the 75th anniversary of the founding of the 320th Division (January 16, 1951 / January 16, 2026).
