Inauguration of the Boarding House of Ta Nhiu Primary and Secondary Boarding School

On the afternoon of November 11, Plan International Vietnam in collaboration with UNIQLO Japan Co., Ltd., the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Department of Education and Training held the inauguration ceremony of the boarding house for Ta Nhiu Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities (Nham Dan commune).

The sponsor gave thermal shirts to students and local people.

The Ta Nhiu Primary and Secondary Boarding School Boarding House project was started on June 20, 2025 with a total investment of 1 billion 80 million VND, sponsored by UNIQLO. The project includes: 4 rooms, area of ​​60 m²/room, total usable area of ​​240 m², ensuring solidity, ventilation, full auxiliary items of electrical system, cooling fans, suitable for the climate conditions of the highlands. After more than 4 months of urgent construction, the boarding house was completed and put into use, thereby contributing to solving accommodation for 120 students out of a total of 400 boarding students of the school.

At the ceremony, Ms. Le Quynh Lan, Country Director of Plan International Vietnam and representative of UNIQLO Japan shared: Over the years, Plan International Vietnam has made continuous efforts to promote children's rights and gender equality, focusing on protecting girls from the risk of early marriage and incestuous marriage. The Ta Nhiu Primary and Secondary Boarding School was built and completed with the desire to contribute to creating a safer, more friendly and equal learning environment for children in the highlands.

On this occasion, sponsors donated nearly 1,000 thermal shirts to students and local people.
