Sam Son Sea Tourism Festival 2024 and inauguration of the sea square and festival landscape axis of Sam Son city are cultural events of great significance to Thanh Hoa province and Sam Son city;
Through cultural, artistic programs and sports and tourism activities to introduce to the people, domestic and foreign tourists about the positive changes, strong transformation in the urban appearance and quality of Sam Son tourism services with unique tourism products; affirming that Sam Son City is gradually building and developing to become a national key tourist city, an ideal destination for domestic and international tourists.
Through events and sideline activities aimed at promoting the cultural values and tourism products of Sam Son City to friends and visitors; gradually building Sam Son into a "City of Festivals". Opening up opportunities to attract investment, exploit natural and social resources for tourism development, contributing to promoting the economic and social development of Thanh Hoa province in general and Sam Son City in particular.
On the other hand, the event also aims to encourage and motivate the people to enthusiastically compete in labor production, contributing to building Sam Son City to be more civilized, friendly and beautiful in the hearts of friends and tourists.
According to information at the press conference, in 2024, Sam Son City will have 17 tourism programs, festivals and events organized.
In addition, the 2024 Sea Tourism Festival also has activities to introduce OCOP products, which are products typical of Thanh Hoa regions, chaired by the Department of Industry and Trade of Thanh Hoa in coordination with the People's Committee of Sam Son City and the locality.
In particular, this year Sam Son City welcomes a new tourism product, the Sun World Sam Son Water Park project, which is scheduled to open on May 18. The Sun World Sam Son Park project is a comprehensive entertainment area located in the 1,260ha project complex of Sun Group with many diverse entertainment products, a series of thrilling games appearing for the first time in Thanh Hoa.
