(Dong Nai) - On January 21, a delegation from the Department of Industry and Trade of Dong Nai province surveyed and worked with several localities and businesses on preparations for Tet (Lunar New Year) in 2026.

The delegation included Deputy Head of the Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) Dang Tran Nhat Thoai; Deputy Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council Vu Manh Tien, along with representatives from the Dong Nai Provincial Market Management Department.

Accordingly, the delegation worked with and surveyed the preparations for Tet (Lunar New Year) with the People's Committees of Long Hung and Tran Bien wards, and CP Vietnam Livestock Joint Stock Company, and Petrolimex Dong Nai One-Member Limited Liability Company. Representatives from localities and businesses stated that they will proactively plan the supply of essential goods, implement plans to ensure sufficient quantities for the peak period leading up to Tet, and deploy plans to arrange and increase personnel and regulate goods supply as needed during the upcoming Tet holiday.

Deputy Head of the Trade Management Department (Department of Industry and Trade) Dang Tran Nhat Thoai - representing the working group - shared: The Department of Industry and Trade acknowledges the proposals and recommendations from localities and businesses regarding the preparation and balancing of supply and demand for essential goods during the upcoming Tet holiday. The Department of Industry and Trade calls on production and business units participating in the supply of essential goods during Tet to proactively secure supply sources, stabilize prices, and promptly adjust in necessary situations.

Local authorities need to review and develop plans to deliver goods to sales points when there are price fluctuations or supply shortages; as well as ensure the assignment of staff to work during Tet, fire prevention and control, and parking for customers during the Tet holiday...
