Survey on labor situation, employment, occupational safety and health, wages, and Tet holiday bonuses at enterprises.

On January 22nd, a delegation from the An Giang Department of Internal Affairs, led by Deputy Director Nguyen Hoang Minh Thu, conducted a field survey on the labor situation, employment, occupational safety and health, wages, and Tet bonuses at businesses in the Binh Hoa Industrial Park.

Accordingly, the delegation conducted surveys at four businesses: An Giang Samho Co., Ltd.; Universal Apparel Co., Ltd.; NV Apparel Co., Ltd.; and Spectre An Giang Vietnam Garment Technology Co., Ltd. in Binh Hoa Industrial Park.

At each location visited, the delegation assessed the labor situation, employment, occupational safety and hygiene, wages, Tet bonuses, compliance with regulations on wages and Tet bonuses, policies and benefits for workers, and production and business activities at enterprises. At the same time, they recorded suggestions and proposals to provide timely support to businesses, contributing to the stability of labor relations and social security in the area.

Representatives from businesses stated that, compared to the same period last year, the market and orders have increased, and production and business operations are relatively stable, creating conditions for maintaining jobs and income for workers. Businesses ensure that employees receive their salaries, Tet bonuses, income, working hours, rest periods, social insurance, health insurance, and meal allowances.

On this occasion, representatives of businesses made several recommendations to the survey team: the central government should review the regulations on social housing for low-income earners to make them more suitable to the actual income of workers; the Provincial Labor Union should have more policies to care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances; the Economic Zone Management Board should soon upgrade infrastructure, install cameras and lighting in industrial zones to prevent flooding, ensure security and order, and improve the landscape; and there should be more programs and activities to recruit workers so that businesses have the opportunity to participate.

Acknowledging the situation and opinions of businesses, Deputy Director of the An Giang Department of Internal Affairs , Nguyen Hoang Minh Thu, expressed her hope that businesses would continue to develop production and business, take care of their employees, fully and promptly implement employee benefits; regularly engage in dialogue with employees, and have better welfare policies to attract and retain workers...
