In the context of the country entering a new development phase with the requirement of rapid and sustainable growth, the private economic sector, digital transformation, green economy and innovation have emerged as key driving forces of the Vietnamese economy. The major orientations outlined in the Party's resolutions have been deeply embedded in life, becoming a "compass" for businesses on their development journey. In Thai Nguyen, the industrial and innovation center of the Northern midland and mountainous region, the business community has clearly demonstrated its pioneering role in realizing these policies through concrete, creative and socially responsible actions.

Private economy is an important driving force

Since the issuance of Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW in 2017 of the 12th Party Central Committee, the private economy has been truly “unleashed”, developing strongly in both quantity and quality. Many businesses in Thai Nguyen said that the spirit of Resolution No. 10-NQ/TW has entered life, creating a favorable environment for entrepreneurs to commit and innovate, while making increasingly greater contributions to the budget, creating jobs and spreading social values.

Ms. Vu Thi Van, Deputy General Director of Bac Thai Metal Joint Stock Company, commented: I highly appreciate the Party's consistent spirit in considering the private sector as the driving force of the economy. It is important to specify more mechanisms to ensure property rights, access to resources, and encourage innovation so that businesses are capable of integrating into the global value chain.

Currently, the private economic sector contributes about 45% of the country's GDP, 30% of the budget revenue, creating jobs for tens of millions of workers. In Thai Nguyen, this sector accounts for over 97% of the total number of operating enterprises, becoming the main force in the processing industry, trade and export.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thai Hung Trading Joint Stock Company, shared: The Party and State's policies on institutional innovation, procedure reduction, and investment environment improvement in recent years have helped businesses confidently expand production. We hope that the 14th Congress will have more breakthrough solutions on digital infrastructure, digital human resources, and capital markets so that the private sector can continue to make breakthroughs.

Digital transformation is the "key" to improving production efficiency

Digital transformation has gone beyond the usual trend and become a development imperative. The Party's determination of the digital economy as a pillar in the development strategy until 2045 has received special support from Thai Nguyen businesses.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Truong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Company, commented: For a traditional enterprise with old technology lines, digital transformation is an opportunity to modernize production processes, optimize costs and improve competitiveness. The Party's orientation is both correct and has a long-term strategic vision.

Currently, many businesses in Thai Nguyen have applied ERP systems, supply chain management software, electronic invoices, cashless transactions, etc., helping to increase productivity by 15-20% while significantly reducing operating costs. This is clear evidence that the Party's resolutions and policies are not just slogans, but are actually changing the way the local economy operates.

The inevitable direction from green economy and innovation

In the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Congress, the phrase "green, sustainable, and circular development" appears frequently, reflecting the Party's strategic vision of harmonious development between growth and environmental protection.

From the practice of building materials production, Ms. Pham Thi Khanh Van, Sales Director of CNT Group Joint Stock Company, commented: The policy of sustainable development associated with digital transformation and green transformation is extremely practical. The building materials industry consumes a lot of energy, so applying new technology and digital management of the supply chain helps businesses reduce emissions, save materials, and at the same time improve productivity. This is the right direction set by the Party.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Ha Thai Tea Joint Stock Company, emphasized: Digital transformation helps reduce costs, expand markets and create equal opportunities for women to start businesses. I hope that the 14th Congress will continue to promote the role of female entrepreneurs in the process of innovation and integration.

Effectiveness from policy to practice

It can be seen that the Party's policies on private economic development, digital transformation, and green economy are being concretized by resolutions and action programs of the Government , ministries, branches, and localities. In Thai Nguyen, many policies to support businesses in digital transformation, trade promotion, and technological innovation have been effective, contributing to the province continuously being in the leading group of the country in terms of competitiveness index (PCI) and administrative reform (PAR Index).

Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Van Xuan Ward Business Association, shared: What the business community expects most is that the Party's major orientations will continue to be institutionalized quickly and clearly. When trust is strengthened and institutions are perfected, businesses will certainly boldly invest and make breakthroughs.

The dedicated and practical contributions of the Thai Nguyen business community reflect the spirit of accompanying the Party and the State in the process of creating the future. If the private economy is facilitated and supported in the right direction, it will continue to be the main engine, while digital transformation, green economy and innovation are the fuel that helps the national economic engine operate effectively and sustainably.
