Commendation of 5 collectives and 10 individuals with outstanding achievements in propaganda and dissemination of Vietnam Border Law

(GLO)- On the afternoon of December 1, the Gia Lai Provincial Border Guard Command held a conference to review 5 years of implementing the Project "Organizing intensive training; propagating and disseminating the Vietnam Border Guard Law and detailed regulations for the period 2021-2025".

According to the report at the conference, over the past 5 years, the propaganda and dissemination of the Vietnam Border Law has been directed by the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command to be implemented synchronously, comprehensively and with many innovations.

The Provincial Border Guard Command has presided over and closely coordinated with departments, branches, sectors and localities to organize many training courses and disseminate laws to reporters, officials and people at all levels, especially in the province's border areas.

Thereby, helping people in border areas, owners of vehicles, boats... understand the regulations of the Vietnam Border Law and related documents; thanks to that, awareness of law compliance is raised. Cases of border regulation violations, IUU fishing, illegal entry and exit have clearly decreased year by year.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Doan Ngoc Bau - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command requested agencies and units to continue to widely deploy new propaganda programs and models. In particular, it is necessary to diversify and stage propaganda content; combine direct and mobile propaganda with propaganda on social networks, grassroots loudspeaker systems, digital platforms, leaflets, billboards, and posters to increase the effectiveness of legal propaganda work.

"It is necessary to strengthen the role of prestigious people in border villages and hamlets to propagate and mobilize the people. Combine legal propaganda with propaganda about seas and islands, anti-IUU and the task of border management and protection in the new situation; contribute to building an increasingly solid "People's Border Defense" - Colonel Doan Ngoc Bau emphasized.
