To promptly recognize and commend individuals with outstanding achievements and bravery in controlling aggressive buffaloes that attacked people, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property, Mr. Le Van Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of My Quoi Ward, signed a decision to award Certificates of Commendation to 5 individuals: Le Minh Duong Em, Le Van Ut, Dang Quoc Thai, Lam Che Thong, all residing in Vinh Trung area, and Doan Van Thao, residing in Vinh Su area, My Quoi Ward.

Earlier, at around 11:00 AM on February 14th, in the Vinh Su area of ​​My Quoi ward ( Can Tho City), residents spotted a wild buffalo exhibiting unusual behavior and reported it to the local authorities. While running, the buffalo gored and injured five people before fleeing towards Kenh Tu bridge, where it was apprehended by law enforcement, five young men, and local residents.
