Unexpected rewards for groups and individuals participating in supporting response to storm No. 11

On the morning of November 14, the State Bank of Vietnam Region 5 organized an extraordinary commendation ceremony for the collectives and individuals of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police who supported the response to storm No. 11. Attending and presenting the awards was comrade Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Comrade Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, presented certificates of merit to two groups: the Economic Security Department and the Mobile Police Department (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police).

During the recent storm No. 11, the headquarters of the State Bank of Region 5 in Thai Nguyen was deeply flooded, including the entire first floor. Many officers and civil servants of the State Bank of Region 5 were also severely affected by the flood, 33 families were deeply flooded, isolated, and suffered great damage. In the emergency situation, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police dispatched over 100 officers and soldiers to promptly support the movement of nearly 4,000 bags of money of all kinds from the first floor to the temporary warehouse on the third floor, ensuring absolute safety for the treasury before water flooded the headquarters.

Comrade Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, acknowledged and commended the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police force for demonstrating a proactive and responsible spirit, promptly coordinating with the State Bank Region 5 to effectively deploy measures to protect the safety of headquarters, assets, treasury systems and support in overcoming the consequences of the storm.

Comrade Le Quang Huy, Director of State Bank Region 5, awarded Certificates of Merit to the Target Protection Police Team (Mobile Police Department) and 5 individuals.

On this occasion, Mr. Pham Tien Dung, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups with outstanding achievements in supporting the response to storm No. 11, including: Economic Security Department and Mobile Police Department (Thai Nguyen Provincial Police). Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 5, awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 group and 5 individuals of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police, who had many active and effective support activities in responding to storm No. 11.
