On March 18, the Provincial People's Committee held a ceremony to "Review and award students who won national excellent student awards in the 2024-2025 school year". Attending and chairing the conference was Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa.
In the 2024 - 2025 school year, the Department of Education and Training of Long An province has 23 students winning national excellent student awards in 9 cultural subjects, including: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography, Informatics and English. Compared to the 2023 - 2024 school year, although the number of awards has decreased, the quality of the awards has increased with 02 second prizes, 10 third prizes and 11 consolation prizes; especially in this school year's exam, there is 01 national excellent student in Informatics from Nguyen Trung Truc High School - Ben Luc, honored to be called to attend the 2025 Olympic team selection exam.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa: Acknowledged the efforts of the students in studying and the results they achieved in the national excellent student exam. Through this, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee would like to thank the parents and teachers for creating conditions for the students to study, orienting, guiding and imparting valuable knowledge to the students.
In the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that students will continue to be self-disciplined in their studies, continue to promote their abilities and strengths to achieve even greater achievements not only domestically but also internationally, becoming talented people contributing to the country. As for the Provincial Departmentof Education and Training, in 2025, it is necessary to continue to pay attention to building facilities, reviewing equipment to ensure teaching and learning in the whole province, especially focusing on health education; at the same time, advise the People's Council, the People's Committee, coordinate with departments, branches and the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education on the work of "encouraging learning and promoting talents" in the province.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to students who achieved high results in the national excellent student exam for the 2024-2025 school year. Representatives of the Provincial Department of Education and Training awarded teachers who directly trained the award-winning students.
