During today's award ceremony, the first prize winning teachers left a lasting impression on the audience when presenting impressive excerpts from the practical and theoretical sections of past competitions.
With the theme of "gender equality", teacher Thai Hong Duy, a teacher at the 19/5 City Kindergarten, brought the T'rung orchestra to the stage, dancing beautifully and flexibly to the song " Dancing with the Central Highlands " with the children in the kindergarten class with the message: "I am a man, and I can dance, sing, and play musical instruments. All boys and all girls, you can also dance, sing, and be musicians or dancers. Regardless of gender, we can all do the work we love, we have strengths and talents".

Ms. Vu Thi Mong Thuy, teacher at Sao Mai 12 Kindergarten, District 4, presented an educational activity to guide children on how to safely ride the metro - an activity under the theme of educating children about traffic safety.
Ms. Truong Thi Mong Trinh, teacher of the Talented Youth Independent Group, Tan Phu District, demonstrated her talent in organizing educational activities, helping children become more interested in exploring their surroundings with technology applications. Or Ms. Vo Thi My Ai, teacher of Soc Nau Kindergarten, Go Vap District, danced ballet with the children, after telling them the story "Elephants learn to dance ballet" to educate them about gender equality...
Ms. Le Thuy My Chau said that compared to the 2023-2024 school year, this year's Excellent Teacher Competition recorded a significant increase in the number of participating preschool teachers. At the grassroots level, there were 10,180 preschool teachers, an increase of more than 110%. At the district level, there were 2,046 teachers, an increase of more than 50%, and the quality of the entries was improved.
The Talented Teacher Competition also attracted many teachers from independent class groups to participate, especially 1,305 teachers won prizes at the grassroots level, reaching 64.47% (last school year only reached 40.89%).

Driving force for sustainable development of preschool education in Ho Chi Minh City
The Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training said that the Excellent Preschool Teacher Competition and the Talented Teacher Competition for the 2024-2025 school year are not only professional events, but also a competitive movement, contributing to improving the quality of preschool education throughout the city.
"Through the competitions, young, dynamic teachers have the opportunity to exchange, learn and share experiences. The lectures, lesson plans and solutions presented by teachers at the competition not only demonstrate professional capacity but also reflect the spirit of innovation, application of technology and flexibility in handling practical situations to bring meaningful educational activities, helping children develop comprehensively in terms of cognition, skills and personality," Ms. Chau emphasized.

After today's award ceremony, 99 excellent preschool teachers and 72 talented teachers were recognized as Excellent Teachers at the city level for the 2024-2025 school year. Including 10 first prizes, 30 second prizes, 59 third prizes of the Excellent Teacher Competition. 8 first prizes, 24 second prizes, 40 third prizes of the Talented Teacher Competition.
