In your opinion, what is unique or different about the 2025 season compared to the previous season?
Ms. Trinh Nhu Quynh: This year's season marks a breakthrough turning point with the selection of Quan Ngua Sports Palace as the starting and finishing point, providing a spacious venue and creating a new highlight for the running community. With the running route passing through the historical sites and unique landscapes of Hanoi, especially the finish line of more than 10km along West Lake, it promises to bring new experiences for athletes to break through and improve their personal achievements.
In addition, there are many other interesting cultural and sports activities on the sidelines of the race with the message of connection and promoting the spirit of community cohesion.
What activities is Standard Chartered doing to prepare for the upcoming marathon?
Ms. Trinh Nhu Quynh: We have many activities taking place before the opening day of the tournament. The most prominent one is " Online Fun Fit Fest". This initiative is an opportunity for all those who love exercise to express their desire to help and share difficulties with the disadvantaged. Participants can choose one of three sports or participate in all three sports: Running, Walking and Cycling on the online V-Race platform or simply post pictures of themselves practicing any sport on Facebook. Each kilometer of training and pictures posted on the personal Facebook page will be converted into money by the Organizing Committee to support the Will to Live Fund to support people with disabilities.
In just 2 weeks of launching, Fun Fit Fest online health festival has proven the great power of the community by attracting : More than 11,000 participants on both vRace and Facebook , with more than 170 million VND raised, equivalent to 85% of the fundraising target !
