Groundbreaking ceremony of housing project for police force in Nam Thang Long Urban Area, Hanoi

(Chinhphu.vn) - On November 1, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the housing construction project for the People's Public Security Armed Forces at plot IA25 (Phu Thuong Ward, Hanoi).

The project is implemented to realize the policy of the Party, State as well as the Ministry of Public Security on caring for the lives of armed forces, contributing to ensuring social security, creating conditions for officers and soldiers to work with peace of mind and be attached to the mission of serving the Fatherland and people.

Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Deputy Minister of Public Security, said that the police force is always ready to carry out its duties in any situation, not only in Vietnam but also abroad, including many potentially dangerous and risky tasks. In order for officers and soldiers to feel secure in carrying out the tasks assigned by the Party, State and people, meeting the housing needs of officers and soldiers is very necessary.

"Caring for and helping officers and soldiers have a place to return to, so that they can work with peace of mind, has always been a concern of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security. The groundbreaking of the project is another joy and hope for officers and soldiers," said Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan emphasized that the groundbreaking ceremony not only marked the beginning of an important social security project, but also affirmed the political determination and spirit of solidarity of Hanoi with the Public Security Forces.

In order to complete the project ahead of schedule, ensuring safety and quality, comrade Duong Duc Tuan requested the investor to arrange equipment, human resources and material resources to promptly implement construction immediately after the groundbreaking ceremony; continue to closely coordinate with agencies and units of Hanoi City and Phu Thuong Ward People's Committee, implement appropriate and advanced construction measures and solutions, aiming to complete the project ahead of schedule.

The IA25 project is located on a land area of ​​18,142 m², belonging to the 20% land fund of the Nam Thang Long urban area. The scale of the project includes 3 towers from 27 to 40 floors high, modern design, providing 1,262 apartments from 2-4 bedrooms, meeting the diverse housing needs of officers, soldiers and families. With a construction density of only 37%, the project prioritizes the development of green space, harmonious landscape and synchronous utility system.
