On November 10, the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Hanoi People's Committee to organize the groundbreaking ceremony of the housing project for the People's Public Security armed forces at Land Lot X1, Phu Thuong Ward, Hanoi City .
Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc - Deputy Minister of Public Security; Comrade Duong Duc Tuan - Permanent Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee; together with representatives of leaders of central and local agencies, functional units of the Ministry of Public Security, Hanoi Police...

The project is implemented in accordance with Resolution No. 201/2025/QH15 dated May 29, 2025 of the National Assembly on piloting specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development, along with the direction of the Prime Minister. The Ministry of Public Security and the Hanoi People's Committee have identified many planning locations for housing construction, solving the accommodation needs of police officers and soldiers in the capital.
Land plot X1 has an area of 1.73 hectares, adjacent to and synchronously connected with the technical infrastructure of Nam Thang Long Urban Area. The investment scale includes three social housing blocks and one commercial housing block, with modern design, full amenities, environmentally friendly, meeting the accommodation needs of about 4,000 officers, soldiers and their families, with a total of 1,202 apartments.

This is the 7th project in 2025 started by the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi People's Committee; it is expected that at least three more major projects will start this year.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc emphasized that the project has special social significance, demonstrating concern for the lives of officers and soldiers, helping to stabilize their lives and work with peace of mind, while contributing to building a civilized, safe and disciplined community.
