Groundbreaking ceremony of Muong Ang Spiritual Cultural Area

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Tran Tien Dung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Muong Ang Spiritual Cultural Area project.

Attending the groundbreaking ceremony were comrades: Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee; Tran Tien Dung, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Cao Thi Tuyet Lan, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Vu A Bang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Dien Bien province; comrades of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Delegates attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Muong Ang Spiritual Cultural Area project.

The Muong Ang Spiritual Cultural Area Project is being implemented on an area of over 14.46 hectares with a total investment of over 100 billion VND in the form of socialization, invested by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in Dien Bien province. The project includes the following items: Tam quan gate, bell tower, sacred seal, ceremony preparation house - reception house, tower cluster, 27m long nirvana Buddha statue, meditation hall system, ethnic culture exhibition area, typical product kiosks and parking lot... When completed, the Muong Ang Spiritual Cultural Area will become a unique destination, harmoniously combining cultural values, traditional beliefs and modern experience space.

Comrade Vu A Bang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the groundbreaking ceremony of the Muong Ang Spiritual Cultural Area project.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Comrade Vu A Bang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The project has an important significance in preserving and promoting national cultural identity, creating more unique tourism products, expanding the chain of cultural and spiritual tourism development, and raising the image of Dien Bien on the national tourism map. This is a specific step to implement the goals of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Executive Committee on tourism development to 2025, with a vision to 2030.

In order for the project to be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality, safety and efficiency, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the investor to pay special attention to landscape factors, cultural identity and harmony with nature. At the same time, closely coordinate with local authorities and departments and branches during the implementation process. Relevant departments and branches create the most favorable conditions for investment procedures, land, construction, and environment according to current regulations. Muong Ang commune proactively supports the site, ensures security and order in the construction area, strengthens propaganda to create consensus among the people, and at the same time connects and integrates the project with the tourism and service development orientation of the commune.
