Construction of Thang Long Bac Kan Industrial Plywood Factory started

BBK- On the morning of March 21, at Thanh Binh Industrial Park, Cho Moi district, the groundbreaking ceremony of the Thang Long Bac Kan Industrial Plywood Factory Construction Project took place.

Attending the meeting were comrades: Hoang Duy Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Tran Thi Loc, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Dinh Quang Tuyen, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and a number of comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing members of the Provincial People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of a number of departments, branches, sectors and localities.

Thang Long Bac Kan Industrial Plywood Factory is built on an area of 5.15 hectares, invested by Thang Long Bac Kan Production and Trading Joint Stock Company. The designed capacity of the entire factory is 100,000m³/year, with main construction items including: Factory, office building, auxiliary building (boiler, glue cooking, mechanical workshop), fire prevention and fighting tank, wastewater treatment system, water supply and drainage, internal traffic, fence gate... with a total construction area of 26,796m². The total investment is 360 billion VND, including 50% equity capital; 50% commercial loan capital.

Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke at the ceremony.

It is expected that after completion and operation (in 2026), the Factory will produce plywood, veneer, plywood and other thin board products to serve domestic consumption and export needs. This project is not only meaningful to i with the development of enterprises, but also brings many job opportunities for people, creates more sources of revenue for the local budget, creates an attractive investment environment and contributes to improving the production capacity of the wood processing industry in Vietnam.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Dinh Quang Tuyen, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, welcomed the enterprises that have invested in the province. He highly appreciated the project to build Thang Long Bac Kan Industrial Plywood Factory, and said that this will continue to be a new driving force for the province's industrial growth. He suggested that departments, branches, sectors and localities pay more attention to the project, so that the factory can complete its items, soon come into operation, and contribute to the economic development of the province.../.
