Launching the 2025 Carefor Cup National 7-a-side Women's Football Championship

With the desire to join hands and contribute to the goal of building and developing Vietnamese football, VietFootball Joint Stock Company will organize the 2025 Carefor Cup National 7-a-side Women's Football Championship.

In the strategic orientation and action plan, determined to join hands to further promote the development of women's football in Vietnam as well as starting from the reality and needs of women's football life, VietFootball aims to build a 7-a-side football tournament system for women's football. In 2024, the National 7-a-side Women's Football Championship will be held for the first time, laying the foundation to gradually build a meaningful and valuable playground for women's football, which has long faced many barriers and limitations in mobilizing potential, resources and support to maintain, improve and develop.

In 2025, with the support of the Carefor brand, the second National 7-a-side Women's Football Championship will continue to be held, with the participation of 12 teams representing provinces, cities, businesses as well as universities from many regions across the country. With positive signals from the support, response, efforts and determination from many sides, the tournament hopes to continue to promote its meaning and role in spreading the spirit of passion, together building and developing to improve the position and life of Vietnamese women's football.

The tournament takes place from November 15 to 22, at C500 football field, People's Security Academy, Hanoi . Of which, 6 clubs representing provinces/cities/enterprises compete for the Queen Cup and 6 clubs representing universities/colleges compete for the Princess Cup.

The year 2025 also marks the 12-year journey of building and developing Vietnamese 7-a-side football by VietFootball, as a pioneer. Not only gradually expanding and popularizing Vietnamese 7-a-side football, but also branded playgrounds such as VPL (National 7-a-side Football Championship), VSC (National 7-a-side Football Cup) or international 7-a-side tournaments contribute to introducing and promoting a unique type of football originating from Vietnam to friends and audiences in the region and continent...
