Prosperity thanks to skillful mass mobilization

The cultural house of Binh Trung village, Chien Thang commune was built spaciously thanks to the joint efforts of the villagers.

Binh Trung village is 10 km from the center of Chien Thang commune with 147 households, 680 people, mainly Tay and Nung people living together. Previously, people's lives were still difficult, the roads were mainly dirt roads, the cultural house was narrow and degraded... Mr. Vi Van La, Party Cell Secretary, Head of Binh Trung Village said: We determined that in order to do well in the task of building new rural areas, in addition to the support of the State, we must promote the role of the people as the main subject. Therefore, mass mobilization work is always put first by the village.

Accordingly, the village Party Cell has divided Party members into 2 groups to coordinate with mass organizations and prestigious people in the village to propagate and mobilize people to respond and participate in contents related to building new rural areas.

With the motto "slow and steady wins the race", propaganda is not only carried out in Party cell meetings and village meetings, Party members also directly go to people's homes to explain and mobilize them to implement criteria such as: developing production, building cultural houses, building roads, environmental sanitation...

In addition, the village Party cell focuses on promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members. Many Party members have taken the lead in donating land, contributing human and material resources to build roads and cultural houses. Ms. Vi Thi Thom, a Party member of Binh Trung Village Party Cell, shared: Following Uncle Ho's teaching "Party members go first, the country follows", in 2022, my family and I agreed to donate more than 100 square meters of land to expand rural roads. Now seeing people traveling conveniently and children going to school easily, I feel very happy and proud.

Notably, the village also applies information technology in mass mobilization by using the village zalo group to announce, collect opinions, update the progress of road construction, building cultural houses, etc. Thereby, helping people grasp information quickly and increase two-way interaction. In addition, at the end of the year summary occasions, the village also commends pioneering households that donate land, contribute money, etc. to promptly recognize and spread typical examples, creating motivation for people to actively respond to the movements.

With the synchronous implementation of the above solutions, from 2021 to now, villagers have donated nearly 4,600 square meters of land, contributed more than 500 million VND and over 1,000 working days to build roads, build cultural houses and other works.

Mr. Luong Thanh Chung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Chien Thang Commune commented: Binh Trung Village is one of the bright spots of the commune in implementing the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" movement. Thanks to good mass mobilization, the village has promoted the people's strength, creating high consensus in building roads, building cultural houses... the implementation process is favorable, the progress of the projects is accelerated, and the quality is guaranteed.

Thanks to the effective implementation of mass mobilization work, the new rural construction program in Binh Trung village has achieved many outstanding results. Up to now, about 80% of the roads to the village center have been concreted, and more than 60% of the inter-hamlet roads have been hardened. The rate of cultural families has reached 92.7%; the average income per capita has reached more than 40 million VND/year (an increase of more than 5 million VND compared to 2024); the poverty rate has decreased to 7.4% (a decrease of 2.1% compared to 2024)... With those efforts, in September 2025, Binh Trung village was honored to receive a certificate of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for its outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Skilled mass mobilization" for the period 2021 - 2025.
