Prosecution and arrest of individuals for disseminating anti-state propaganda related to the Le Trung Khoa case.

The police have decided to prosecute, issue an arrest warrant for temporary detention, and issue a search warrant against Pham Quang Thien for the crime of producing, possessing, distributing, and disseminating information and documents aimed at opposing the State.

On December 6th, information from the Ministry of Public Security indicated that the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security had issued a Decision to prosecute, an Arrest Warrant for temporary detention, and a Search Warrant against Pham Quang Thien for the crime of "making, possessing, disseminating, and propagating information and documents aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as stipulated in Article 117 of the Penal Code.

Expanding the investigation into the case of "Making, possessing, distributing or disseminating information, documents, or items aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" related to Le Trung Khoa, on December 4th, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security issued a Decision to prosecute, an Arrest Warrant for temporary detention, and a Search Warrant against Pham Quang Thien (born in 1978; residing at No. 5, Alley 127, An Trach Street, O Cho Dua Ward, Hanoi City) for the crime of "making, possessing, distributing, or disseminating information and documents aimed at opposing the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as stipulated in Article 117 of the Penal Code.

The Supreme People's Procuratorate has approved the Decision to initiate criminal proceedings, the Arrest Warrant for temporary detention, and the Search Warrant against Pham Quang Thien mentioned above.

Currently, the Security Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security is coordinating with the Supreme People's Procuratorate to investigate and clarify the case and the criminal acts of the defendants in order to handle them according to the law.
