Prosecution of company director for tax evasion, causing loss to state budget of more than 300 million VND

The investigation determined that from 2021 to 2022, defendant Du Che Linh, Director of Du Linh Company Limited, to legalize the source of purchased goods and services without invoices or documents (stone, sand and transportation costs), defendant Linh and Mr. Le Dinh Tuan (unknown background) purchased a total of 16 fake invoices from Tan Sang AG Trading Company Limited (tax code 1602157419), Bich Tram AG Trading and Service Company Limited (tax code 1602136553) and Thanh Phong AG Company Limited (tax code 1602150780) with a total amount of pre-tax amount of more than 4.9 billion VND, total value added tax of more than 487 million VND, and total payment of more than 5.4 billion VND.

At the same time, defendant Linh used the declaration to deduct input value added tax, causing damage to the state budget of over 300 million VND.

An Giang Provincial Police Investigation Agency continues to investigate, clarify and handle the case.
