Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City encouraged volunteers to go on relief missions.

It was noted that on September 13, many artists, businesses, and units also came to the City Front to send medicine and food to frontline forces (police, army, local militia, etc.) participating in rescuing people in isolated areas in the North.

Also this afternoon, Ho Chi Minh City held a launching ceremony to transport more than 30 tons of essential goods such as: water, milk, noodles, nutritional foods, lifebuoys, lifebuoys, rice... At the same time, ambulances and cranes carrying canoes were also ready to go to the relief mission for the people of the North.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city calls on all people, agencies, organizations, and business communities in the area to continue to share and provide spiritual and material support to our beloved Northern compatriots," said Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc.

Previously, on September 10, at the launching ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3 organized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City registered to donate 120 billion VND to share the difficulties and losses that people had to endure in the recent floods.
