Specifically, due to the impact of many storms and rains, the water level in reservoirs serving fire prevention and control in the forest area of the conservation area rose, in some places more than 2m deep, posing a great risk of insecurity.
In fact, many children living in the forest edge area often play and bathe in reservoirs, especially Bau Nham, Ham Thung, Bung Chuong Ngua lakes and the reservoir at forest protection management station No. 3... Although the reserve has posted warning signs of danger and the security force regularly reminds them, many children still deliberately go down to bathe and remove or throw away the warning signs.
The management board of the conservation area recommends that people living near the forest remind their children not to go near or bathe in the reservoirs used for forest fire prevention and control work.
When discovering a person in distress, shout and call on people around for help; quickly find and use indirect rescue tools such as poles, buoys, etc. for the victim to hold on to and pull them to shore. Absolutely do not jump in to save them if you do not know how to swim or do not have mastered rescue skills.
