U.23 Vietnam strives to prove itself
Having just gone through a long journey and only had a short time to eat and rest, the afternoon training session of U.23 Vietnam on December 1st was mainly for relaxing the muscles, helping the players warm up and regain their spirit.
The confident and optimistic spirit during the training session on the football field of RBAC University helped the entire U.23 Vietnam team initially get used to the weather conditions, field surface as well as the training environment in Bangkok.
This is considered the first step before the team enters more specialized training sessions. Captain Khuat Van Khang, in sharing with the media, affirmed that the U.23 Vietnam team is maintaining its determination and spirit towards the highest goal.

"Initially, 28 players or anyone would be worthy to participate. However, the tournament only allows 23 players to register. Those selected will have to try their best to meet the expectations of the coach and the country's fans," Khuat Van Khang said.
The battle in Laos will be unpredictable.
Van Khang also added that the whole team is focusing on improving their coordination, playing cohesively and especially their efficiency in finishing. He did not forget to recall the experience at the 32nd SEA Games two years ago where the U.23 Vietnam team only won the bronze medal.
The midfielder born in 2003 shared: "In the previous SEA Games, the whole team did not have the desired results. This time, my teammates and I are more determined to bring the best results for Vietnamese football."

Talking about being given the captain's armband back, which he and U.23 Vietnam won the U.23 Southeast Asian Championship with, Van Khang affirmed that this is not pressure, but motivation. He expressed: "I see it as a responsibility to try harder, support and motivate the team spirit towards the common goal."
Evaluating the opening match against U.23 Laos, Van Khang said that the opponent is a team with a good foundation, possessing many players playing at the national team level. The captain of U.23 Vietnam emphasized: "The match will be very difficult to predict. U.23 Vietnam will try their best to win."
According to the schedule, the U.23 Vietnam team will start their SEA Games 33 gold medal hunt with the opening match against U.23 Laos at 4 p.m. on December 3 at Rajamangala Stadium. Then, at 7 p.m. on the same day, the host U.23 Thailand team will play against East Timor, also at Rajamangala.
