Kia has just released the first teaser images of the new generation Seltos urban SUV, and confirmed the global launch date on December 10.

Korean carmaker Kia has just released the first teaser images of the new generation Seltos urban SUV. This is the first comprehensive upgrade since Seltos' global launch in 2019, marking an important shift in Kia's global SUV strategy.

The all-new version of the Kia Seltos 2027 has a modern, technological design and is shaped according to the "Opposites United" language - a design philosophy that Kia is applying to many key vehicle lines.

The appearance of the new Kia Seltos 2027 SUV impresses with its sturdy body proportions, sharp lines and strong body cladding, creating a dynamic, confident and individual appearance.

A notable highlight is the lighting system. The distinctive “Star Map” daytime running lights create a clear light pattern at the front of the car, while the rear lights combine horizontal and vertical graphics, providing a unified shape from every angle.

In addition, hidden door handles and minimalist design details inspired by the new electric vehicle line also contribute to improving aerodynamics, while increasing the overall premium feel of the Kia Seltos 2027 SUV.

With the new generation, Kia also expands the personalization capabilities for customers by adding more exterior color options and two special versions: the off-road style X-Line and the sporty GT-Line. This diversity promises to help Seltos better access the increasingly competitive global market.

The latest interior images of the 2027 Kia Seltos revealed in Korea show the front seat design with a luxurious dual-tone silver-gray color. The seats are meticulously designed with new headrests and aircraft-style plastic seat backs. In terms of features, the new generation Kia Seltos is expected to be equipped with a 30-inch Trinity screen with two 12.3-inch screens for the infotainment system and the instrument cluster. In addition, the car also has a 5-inch central touchscreen to control the air conditioning system. The car has an advanced driving assistance system ADAS level 2 and Kia Connect 2.0.

The testing of the new generation Kia Seltos is currently taking place in both India and Korea, and is said to have been completed before the official launch date. Previously, the spy photos and teasers of the car mainly focused on the exterior design, suggesting the new look of this SUV.

The entire interior and exterior design and technical specifications of the new generation Kia Seltos will be announced at the global launch event on December 10. The ceremony will be broadcast live on Kia's official YouTube channel.
