According to Mr. Trinh Quoc An, Deputy Head of the Ha Dong Market Management Board, the market currently has over 1,300 permanent business households operating stably in most essential goods sectors serving daily life. The supply of goods to the market is abundant and diverse, ready to meet the increased shopping demand of the people, especially before, during, and after the 2026 Lunar New Year. Prices of basic goods are relatively stable, with no shortages or unusual fluctuations, contributing to ensuring a balance between supply and demand and market stability in the area.

The delegation surveyed the production, business situation, and product supply capacity to the market at Duc Hanh Food Processing Co., Ltd.

During their working visit, the delegation also surveyed several manufacturing and processing businesses in the Truong An Industrial Cluster, An Khanh commune, including Duc Hanh Food Processing Co., Ltd. and Phu Vinh Hung Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company, to assess their preparations for sourcing goods, production plans, and inventory levels to serve the Tet market.

In discussions with the delegation, Mr. Ngo Trong Van Hai, Director of Duc Hanh Food Processing Co., Ltd., stated that the company's product quality is consistently guaranteed, not just during the Tet holiday. Despite the fluctuations in the market economy this year, the company did not increase production compared to previous years, but proactively developed a suitable production plan to ensure a stable supply and fully meet the consumer demand during the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.

Working with Phu Vinh Hung Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company - one of the leading export and processing factories for knitwear products in the Northern region, Mr. Nguyen Viet Tung, Chairman of the company, said that Phu Vinh Hung always pioneers in improving designs and reducing product costs, especially for socks, which are always favored by customers both domestically and internationally. With a capacity of nearly 10 million pairs/year, the company's annual exports to foreign markets account for more than 60%.

"By applying modern, 100% automated Japanese technology, the company aims to bring its BIZMEN sock brand to the world ," Mr. Tung said optimistically.

The delegation worked with representatives of Phu Vinh Hung Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company.

During the working trip, the delegation also met with the leaders of the Hanoi City Market Management Department, the leaders of several specialized departments, and Market Management Team No. 24. Reports presented at the meeting indicated that the Hanoi Market Management force had proactively developed and implemented a high-intensity plan, focusing on inspecting essential goods with high consumer demand during Tet (Lunar New Year), while also strengthening control and handling of smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods.

During the meeting, Director Tran Huu Linh emphasized that as the Lunar New Year approaches, consumer demand increases, and the market is potentially subject to many complex developments. Market management forces need to closely monitor their areas, keep abreast of supply and demand, and prices to prevent speculation, hoarding, and unreasonable price increases that could affect consumer rights. The Director requested that the Hanoi Market Management force continue to proactively coordinate closely with other functional forces in the area, focusing on inspecting and controlling essential goods for Tet such as food, beverages, confectionery, and consumer goods, while resolutely handling smuggling, commercial fraud, and counterfeit goods in accordance with the law.

At the same time, Director Tran Huu Linh noted that during the inspection and control process, functional forces need to harmoniously combine the work of disseminating information and guiding businesses and households to comply with the law with handling violations; avoiding causing inconvenience or affecting legitimate production and business activities while still ensuring market order and discipline. According to the Director, organizing working groups to directly inspect and survey key areas aims not only to detect and handle violations but also to promptly grasp the difficulties and obstacles faced by businesses and small traders, thereby proposing appropriate management solutions, contributing to stabilizing the goods market, and serving the people to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026 safely and healthily.
