Check and handle 'brokers' who advertise 'diplomatic quotas' to buy and sell social housing

Da Nang directed functional forces to inspect and handle illegal brokerage, 'baiting', 'fee collection', 'guaranteeing successful applications', selling 'diplomatic quotas'... and at the same time publicly announce organizations and individuals violating in the purchase and sale of social housing.

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just issued instructions to implement the official dispatch of the Ministry of Construction on rectifying the submission of documents for buying and selling social housing.

Accordingly, the Department of Construction is required to preside over and coordinate with units to speed up the progress of social housing projects;

Fully disclose information on all ongoing projects, at least 30 days before receiving applications, including: scale, number of apartments, selling price, lease-purchase price, time, location of application distribution, start and end time of receiving applications;

Instruct people to prepare documents according to regulations to avoid having to supplement and go back and forth many times.

Along with that, direct relevant agencies to confirm the correct subjects, income and housing conditions; publicize the list of people eligible to buy or hire-purchase after signing the contract and update data to avoid duplication.

Da Nang also requires the authorities to coordinate to inspect and strictly handle illegal brokerage, "baiting", collecting deposit money, collecting "guarantee" fees, and selling " diplomatic quotas" against regulations. Publicize organizations and individuals who violate the law to warn people.

For investors of social housing projects, they must strictly comply with the purchase and sale procedures; publicize project information on the business's information page and send it to the authorities for posting.

When receiving applications directly, investors must arrange many reception points, divide the flow, have guidance signs and support staff to avoid crowded situations.

If the number of applications exceeds the receiving capacity, the investor must extend the time for receiving applications and notify to ensure that people are received.

When registering to buy or lease-purchase social housing, people must proactively learn about legal regulations and project information through official channels; do not transact through "brokers" or believe in "diplomatic quotas", "internal quotas"...

In Da Nang recently, hundreds of people "stuck" and lined up all night to wait to submit their purchase applications at the An Trung 2 social housing project, Bau Tram Lakeside.
