Import-export turnover through Mong Cai International Border Gate reached more than 5.2 billion USD

According to information from Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs (Customs Sub-Department of Region VIII), from January 1 to November 7, 2025, the import and export turnover of goods through Mong Cai International Border Gate (Mong Cai 1 Ward) and Km3+4 Opening (Mong Cai 3 Ward) reached more than 5.223 billion USD, an increase of 29% over the same period in 2024.

During this period, the unit processed over 100,000 customs declarations, an increase of 19% over the same period. The total number of enterprises completing procedures reached 1,931, including 347 enterprises in the province and 1,584 enterprises outside the province, an increase of 48% over the same period last year.

Thanks to promoting administrative reform, applying digital technology and maximizing facilitation for import-export activities, state budget revenue from import-export activities reached VND 2,435 billion, equal to 97% of the assigned target, up 21% over the same period in 2024.

The above results show that, in the context of logistics activities and bustling border trade again, Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs has clearly demonstrated its core role in promoting fast customs clearance, attracting businesses, and making an important contribution to the economic growth of Quang Ninh province.
