Kim Seon Ho explains why he bought an iPhone in Hanoi, praises Vietnamese food as "very delicious".

At a fansign event in South Korea on January 24th, Kim Seon Ho – the actor currently taking the world by storm with the drama " Can This Love Be Translated?" – spoke for the first time about his business trip to Vietnam in November 2025.

Kim Seon Ho said he decided to buy the iPhone 17 while in Hanoi because he "suddenly thought the phone was so beautiful, the camera system was impressive and unique." During his filming in Vietnam, he had many days off, so he took the opportunity to stroll around the city and buy the phone without any prior planning.

On his first visit to Vietnam, the actor strolled around Hoan Kiem Lake and the Grand Cathedral, and bought sticky rice cakes. He commented that Vietnamese food is delicious, especially pho and bun cha.

Kim Seon Ho also expressed surprise that his image was searched for and became famous in Vietnam at that time.

"I had a great time in Vietnam," Kim Seon Ho told his fans, promising to hold a fan meeting in Hanoi in the near future.

Earlier, Kim Seon Ho was spotted jogging around West Lake with actress Suzy. Both were in Vietnam to film for the project " Portraits Of Delusion ." The following day, the actor continued to cause a stir when he strolled through Hanoi with a member of the film crew.

In the images shared on social media, Kim Seon Ho is seen wearing casual attire, including a T-shirt printed with images from the Harry Potter movies , and is seen casually strolling through the streets without his mask.

Many netizens praised the actor's handsome appearance and friendly demeanor during his time in Vietnam.

Kim Seon Ho, 40 years old, began his career in 2017. He rose to fame thanks to his roles in the drama Start-Up (2020) and especially in Cha-Cha-Cha Village (2021), which earned him the "Actor of the Year" award.

In the last two years, Kim Seon Ho has continued to attract attention with projects such as When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025) and Can This Love Be Translated? (2026).
