"Since last year, we have been testing the installation of snowboard racks on buses and have received positive feedback from customers. They can be customized to fit different types of boards, protecting ski equipment from damage while traveling," said Mr. Tian Feng, manager of Jilin City Transportation Company.
Ms. Wang Miaomiao - Restaurant owner said: "To serve tourists from all over the country, we have added many regional dishes, especially Sichuan dishes and specialties of the Northeast. This year, business is very positive, we can welcome 30,000 - 40,000 visitors this winter."
The ice and snow economy has also benefited from stimulus programs implemented by many localities. For example, Jilin Province this year issued about 100 million yuan in shopping vouchers for locals and tourists, which can be used at more than 70 ski resorts in the province.
