Agent Marc Kosicke revealed that Jurgen Klopp has received offers from Manchester United and Chelsea, despite his stated intention not to manage any more clubs in England.

After leaving Liverpool in May 2024, Jurgen Klopp will not only receive regret from Anfield fans.

According to his agent Marc Kosicke, both Manchester United and Chelsea have approached the German strategist, despite his previous statement that he would not coach any more English clubs.

Speaking to Transfermarkt, Kosicke confirmed that Klopp is currently very happy with his role as Red Bull's Global Director of Football, a position he has held since January last year.

"I don't see him back on the coaching bench right now. He's very happy in his new environment," Kosicke said. However, he also admitted that offers are still coming in.

"Even Chelsea and Manchester United have inquired, although Jurgen has made it clear he won't be managing any other club in England. The interest hasn't stopped," Kosicke said.

Manchester United and Chelsea had previously denied to The Athletic that they had submitted formal offers. This season, both teams have appointed new managers. Liam Rosenior is in charge of Chelsea, while Michael Carrick has been the interim manager at Old Trafford since January.

Kosicke also revealed that Klopp had the opportunity to manage the US national team, the England national team, and even the German national team before accepting the Red Bull offer. He believes his client has "transformed" from a pure coach to a broader managerial role.

In addition, Bayern Munich also came close to signing Klopp on two occasions.

"Bayern came very close to signing us twice," Kosicke added. "Once in 2008. Uli Hoeness wanted Jurgen, but Karl-Heinz Rummenigge wanted Jurgen Klinsmann."

The second time came after Niko Kovac left in 2019, when Klopp was leading Liverpool to victory in the Champions League. Ultimately, Bayern chose Hansi Flick and achieved great success.

Klopp concluded his eight-and-a-half-year stint at Liverpool with the ultimate achievement: winning the Premier League title after a 30-year wait. Despite repeatedly stating he has no intention of returning to coaching, Klopp is frequently mentioned whenever major clubs, most recently Real Madrid, are searching for a new manager.
