The two signed an additional agreement on changing the age of migrant workers in the existing treaty under the basic plan of the program to send seasonal workers abroad in 2023. Accordingly. , previously selected subjects were local people aged from over 30 years old to under 55 years old from the date of visa application. Now this provision has changed to locals from 25 years old to under 49 years old from the date of visa application. The remaining terms will comply with the agreement signed in November 11 as selected subjects are farmers who are lawfully residing in Vietnam, have no criminal record, no health. good and unrestricted in terms of exit; prioritize the selection of workers who are able to communicate in Korean and English, graduated in the field of agriculture; the person who complies with the repatriation schedule after the end of the contract; those who have completed orientation training before the recruitment period; those who have completed a second dose of a WHO-approved vaccine.
Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, said, Hau Giang has an abundant labor force and a great demand for seasonal work in Korea. Therefore, the locality always has enough suitable labor resources to supply household owners in Cheorwon district in particular and other localities of Korea in general.
