Signing of the Plan for coordination in ensuring security, order and the monetary and banking sectors

Before the merger on March 1, 2025, the State Bank branches in Tien Giang , Dong Thap, Long An, and Tay Ninh provinces signed a Coordination Regulation with the Public Security of Tien Giang, Dong Thap, Long An, and Tay Ninh provinces. After the merger, the State Bank branch in Region 13 continued to be reorganized with the management area including Dong Thap and Tay Ninh provinces; at the same time, it inherited the coordination work with the Public Security agencies of the provinces in the region on ensuring security, order, and safety of banking system operations.

At the conference, the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 13 Branch, Dong Thap Provincial Police, Tay Ninh Provincial Police signed a Coordination Plan with the purpose of: Thoroughly grasping and specifying the implementation content in the work of ensuring security, order and the monetary and banking sector; ensuring the unified, timely and centralized direction and management of the leaders of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 13 Branch, Dong Thap Provincial Police, Tay Ninh Provincial Police for the coordination work between units; enhancing responsibility in coordinating the implementation of assigned functions and tasks; ensuring confidentiality of information, forces, means, and professional measures according to regulations.

Accordingly, specific coordination work includes: Exchanging and providing information and documents related to security and order assurance and the monetary and banking sectors according to the functions, tasks, powers and responsibilities of the parties.

Implement directive documents of the Party, State, legal documents drafted by the Ministry of Public Security , State Bank of Vietnam and other directive documents of the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee related to security and order assurance and the monetary and banking sector.

Protect agencies, units, special shipments, projects, works, and important information systems related to national security managed by the State Bank, Region 13 branch. Ensure security and safety of important events organized by the State Bank, Region 13 branch.

Closely coordinate in the work of preventing and combating money laundering and terrorist financing on the basis of legal provisions and the functions and tasks of the parties; combat crimes and violations of the law in the monetary and banking sectors; deploy technical solutions to prevent and combat crimes in the monetary and banking sectors.

State Bank of Vietnam, Region 13 Branch and Tay Ninh Provincial Police signed a Coordination Plan.

Carry out the tasks of the Project on developing population data applications, electronic identification and authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period 2022 - 2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06) and the National Data Center Project (Project 175); connecting public services and other related tasks of the Project.

Build a movement for the entire people to protect national security. Coordinate in personnel work; training, fostering, coaching, and professional training. At the same time, organize inspection, supervision, interim and final reviews of the implementation of the Coordination Plan.
