On November 28 and 29, 2025, the International University (VNU-HCM) held a university graduation ceremony and awarded degrees to 1,821 students, including 1,708 new bachelors and engineers, 99 new masters and 14 new doctors. This is the year with the most doctorates in the history of the school, and is also the first year to successfully train doctors in public administration and biomedical engineering.

At the graduation ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Thang, President of the International University, sent to the new bachelors, masters and doctors a profound message about responsibility, knowledge and life values in the context of a rapidly changing world .
According to him, the new graduates are graduating in a period of unprecedented scientific and technological development, where artificial intelligence impacts every industry and digital transformation takes place on a global scale. There are many opportunities but also great challenges, requiring the young generation to practice independent thinking, adaptive skills, a sense of responsibility and courage in the face of unpredictable changes.
School leaders emphasized three important messages for students: Lifelong learning, being kind and responsible, and knowing how to appreciate and be grateful.
Among the new graduates, there are 322 students graduating from the 4+0 joint program with the University of the West of England and 20 students from the 4+0 program with Andrews University. In 2025, the school recorded 468 students graduating with honors and distinction, of which 435 students were from the program awarded by the International University.
The school’s valedictorian this year is Ho Vu Hoang Khoa, majoring in biotechnology, with an average score of 93.4/100. In the business-management group, Dang Thi Minh Anh excellently won the Gold Medal with 91/100 points.
The year 2025 witnessed a breakthrough for the group of master's and doctoral students. New master's students such as Le Tran My An (Biomedical Engineering) and Nguyen Lien Boi Linh (Biotechnology) have a series of high-quality international publications, including many Q1 and Q2 articles in the SCImago and SCOPUS categories. My An graduated with a gold medal with 98.1/100 points, while Boi Linh scored 97.1/100 points.
This year's PhD group published a total of 75 scientific articles, including 27 Q1 articles, 10 Q2 articles and many Q3-4 articles, bringing the average number of international articles per PhD student to 5.3, far exceeding the minimum requirement.
Many graduate students made outstanding marks, such as: Dr. Truong Thi Thanh Binh (public management) - main author of 5 international articles Q1-Q2; Dr. Le Thu Hang (business administration) - 5 WoS/Scopus articles; Dr. Vu Thanh Binh (biomedical engineering) - 4 ISI articles Q1-Q2, graduation score 93.1/100; Dr. Pham Le Nhat Minh (biotechnology) - graduation score 93.7/100, with many prestigious international articles.
As of November 2025, the International University has trained a total of 12,701 bachelors - engineers and 1,198 masters - doctors, affirming its position in training high-quality human resources. In particular, the school has had 6 consecutive years of doctoral students successfully defending their doctoral theses.
From 2012 to present, 95% of International University students have found jobs within 1 year after graduation, of which 28% work at foreign companies, 35% at international companies. The 94% employer satisfaction rate shows that the school's training quality is increasingly guaranteed.
The International University currently offers 5 doctoral programs and 10 master's programs, many of which meet international accreditation standards such as AUN-QA and ASIIN, and continues to expand its training orientation in the fields of economics, management, engineering, and science and technology.
