Overcoming difficulties

Entering the first school year, teachers and students of Lien Chieu High School faced many difficulties in terms of facilities, human resources, and material resources. The facilities were lacking, with only a 3-story building with 12 rooms for teaching and serving as the principal's office, library, and meeting room; equipment for teaching and learning was limited. The staff for the first school year consisted of only 23 officers, teachers, and employees; the teaching staff was still lacking compared to the teaching needs, and management experience was still in the accumulation stage...

The initial context posed many challenges, but that also fostered the spirit of solidarity and the will to overcome difficulties of the school community. The school leaders clearly identified: to develop and affirm its position, the school determined that it was necessary to prioritize the quality of education , and at the same time build an organizational culture based on "Discipline - Love - Responsibility - Quality".

From the second school year, the school has oriented its core development: building plans, setting goals for each school year, closely linked to the 5-year plan and 10-year vision. At the same time, promoting collective strength and smooth coordination between organizations inside and outside the school; encouraging teachers to innovate teaching methods; promoting digital transformation in management, putting students at the center of all activities.

With these principles, the school has overcome the initial difficulties, successfully completed the educational goals, and created a solid foundation for stable and sustainable development.

After 10 years of construction and development, the school has achieved proud results in many aspects. From the initial simple classrooms, after three phases of investment and construction, the school now owns a spacious classroom system, fully equipped with modern facilities for teaching and learning with two 3-storey classrooms including 18 classrooms. The library and Physics and Chemistry departments are recognized as meeting standards, the information technology room, the Biology laboratory are invested with equipment to meet experimental teaching, the social science room, the multi-purpose sports area serving physical education teaching and extracurricular activities...

Improve the quality of comprehensive education

In the 2025-2026 school year, Lien Chieu High School has stabilized its staff with a total of 75 cadres, teachers, and employees, divided into 7 professional groups and 1 office group; 100% of teachers meet or exceed standards with 1 doctorate and 21 masters, many teachers have achieved the title of excellent teachers, excellent homeroom teachers at school and city levels. Thanks to synchronous solutions suitable to the characteristics of the unit, over the years, the school has always maintained discipline and continuously improved the quality of education.

From 6 classes in the first school year, the school has now increased its size to 30 classes with more than 1,200 students. The rate of good and excellent students is increasing, many students of the school participate in competitions organized by all levels and achieve many encouraging results.

Education on ethics, lifestyle, and soft skills is focused on through specialized topics, extracurricular activities, and experiential activities, contributing to the formation of personality and integration skills for students.

The Youth Union has achieved the title of leading excellence in the school sector in Lien Chieu district for 5 consecutive terms. Notably, in the 2022-2023 school year, the School Union is the only unit in Da Nang city to receive the "Emulation Flag of excellent unit in Union work and youth movement in high school sector" from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

In 10 years of striving and growing, Lien Chieu High School has affirmed the quality of education and the image of the unit in Hai Van ward in particular and Da Nang city in general. In order to maintain and promote the achieved results, the school's leaders have identified important strategic goals to continue to affirm its position and reputation.

First of all, focus on improving the quality of comprehensive education, aiming at the harmonious development of knowledge, ethics, skills and creativity of students. Put into effective use the newly built functional rooms, effectively exploit the new teaching equipment provided in the 2025 - 2026 school year.

Promote digital transformation, apply artificial intelligence in management and teaching to contribute to creating a modern, smart learning environment, meeting educational requirements in the new context, new era. In addition, continue to make efforts and persevere in building the brand of Lien Chieu High School to become a prestigious and quality educational address; aiming to build a liberal - creative - humane educational environment.

With the efforts and achievements, over the years, Lien Chieu High School has always achieved the title of "Advanced Labor Collective" and has been recognized by the City People's Committee as "Excellent Labor Collective". In the 2023 - 2024 school year, the school was honored to be certified by the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City as meeting the standards of educational quality assessment (level 2) and the Chairman of the City People's Committee recognized the school as meeting national standards (level 1).
