Expect solutions from the journey "Stories of the Rivers"

From April 19 to 21, a group of tourists including representatives of tourism management agencies, businesses, tourism experts, journalists, writers, etc. will have a trip to explore the Mekong on the La Marguerite ship (Focus Travel Company).

This is an activity within the framework of accompanying activities from the contest "Stories of Rivers" initiated and launched by VietNamNet newspaper from March 5 to June 30.

According to the organizers, the trip on the Mekong River aims to create opportunities to discuss and propose specific solutions for the protection, exploitation and sustainable development of rivers in Vietnam.

The highlight of the contest is not only the search for high-quality works but also the connection and interaction between river lovers, writers, journalists, managers, experts in the fields of economics, culture, tourism, and environment through companion activities, research trips, and surveys on rivers.

According to the schedule, the delegation will participate in seminars on tourism, waterway transport and regional economic connectivity; visit destinations in Ben Tre such as the departure place of Battalion 307, visit Huynh Phu ancient house, traditional coconut cake workshop or visit Tan Phong islet in Tien Giang...
