On the morning of December 9th, speaking at the ceremony commemorating the 80th anniversary of the traditional day of the armed forces of Military Region 7 and the awarding of the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces, President Luong Cuong expressed his joy and pride in the victories and achievements that the unit has accomplished over the past 80 years.

The President instructed the Party Committee of the 7th Military Region Command to continue implementing the directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense , thoroughly understanding Ho Chi Minh's military thought, the Party's military, defense, and foreign policy guidelines, especially the strategic protection of the Fatherland in the new era.

Effectively implement and organize the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 12th Party Congress of the Army, and the Resolution of the 11th Party Congress of Military Region 7.

At the same time, they must accurately assess and predict the situation, advising the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on correct, timely, and effective policies, strategies, and solutions. Focus on building revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern armed forces in the military region, enhancing overall strength in terms of skills and combat capabilities. Strictly adhere to combat readiness procedures and regulations.

Strictly manage airspace, sea areas, borders, inland and outlying areas, cyberspace, and key strategic locations.

Continue to innovate and improve the quality of training and education, combining military training with political education and the cultivation of combat skills and experience, building a standardized management system and instilling discipline. Organize the review of lessons learned from past and ongoing wars and conflicts around the world.

Timely adjustments to training content and methods are necessary to align with reality, modernize weapons and equipment, promote scientific and technological development, innovation, and digital transformation in the military and defense sector.

This requires especially important improvements in the comprehensive leadership capacity and combat strength of Party organizations and vanguards, as well as the contingent of cadres and Party members.
